Both platforms work. The better first move depends on demand.
Start with Google Ads when...
- People already search for what you offer
- You need enquiries or bookings quickly
- Your offer is specific and easy to describe in a few words
Start with Meta Ads when...
- People do not know to search for you yet
- Your offer is visual or emotional
- You want to build an audience for later follow-up
The usual best answer
Use both with different jobs. Search captures existing demand. Social creates and nurtures it. Measure them together so each gets credit for what it really does.
Before you spend
- Fix conversion tracking first.
- Decide the one number that defines success.
- Test small, then scale what works.
